Happy New Year from Home Arty Home! Here’s looking forward to a great 2015!
Today is not only the beginning of another year but also the first anniversary of Home Arty Home!
I launched Home Arty Home on the 1st of January 2014 and it’s scary how quickly an entire year has flown by already! It seems like only yesterday that I had the idea for a blog to champion independent artists and homewares designers, alongside some established ones, yet 365 days have jetted by with barely time to stop and appreciate it.
So it’s nice to pause, take stock, and look back over the past year’s posts and features and get a real feel for how much work I’ve had the pleasure to feature.
I’ve laid out images from each and every post from 2014 below so I can see the scale of what I’ve written about through the past year and I’m pleased with the diverse mix of artists, shops, and designers.

From #Shoptalk interviews with independent stores to profiles of indie artists & designers, looking back over 2014 demonstrates it was definitely a creative year with some great work.
I set myself the personal challenge to blog at least three times a week and managed to successfully stick to it for the entire year! Some weeks it was easy, other times not so much, so I might cut myself some slack in 2015 to not adhere to so rigid a blogging schedule.
Whatever the year may bring, let’s all raise a glass to 2015!
