Ready for Halloween? Stylish Ceramic Ghosts by Studio Arhoj
I’ve never been one for Halloween yet each year it becomes a bigger and more noticeable event. In the “old days”, there may have been the odd carved pumpkin and a couple of kids trick-or-treating in their normal clothing, but now there seem to be hordes in ghoulish costumes.
Like McDonalds and the Kardashians, Halloween is an American import I’ve never embraced but looking at these stylish ceramic ghosts by Studio Arhoj, I might well get on board.
Now based in Copenhagen’s harbour, Studio Arhoj was originally founded in Toyko by Anders Arhoj. The Japanese influence is still present in the magical ceramics this stylish brand creates yet expertly finds a balance with a Scandinavian sensibility for the clean and simple.
Take the ceramic ghost pots and tea light holders – these are like the iPhones of ceramics: simple, stylish, utilitarian, and clever.
Goodhood has a selection of items by Studio Arhoj available online as well as at their new Curtain Road store in London.
