From tableware to bathroom accessories, when we find items that will bring art, pattern or colour to a room, it’s a delight.

Take stationery – normally so ugly or bland, it’s tricky to find items to make a desk look stylish.

If you have little darlings, you’ve probably packed them back to school with whatever stationery you could grab the day before the playground bell. Perhaps you’re back from your summer holidays and desk-bound from now until Christmas, so wouldn’t it be a treat to have an attractive desk?

Then imagine my disappointment to see that they don’t ship to the UK. My desk is crying out for their coloured stapler and tape dispenser.

If you know someone in the USA, you could get items delivered to them and then ask them nicely to post them on to you, which would avoid any customs import charges if they mark the package as a gift.

However, wouldn’t it be so much easier for someone to set up shop in the UK distributing Poppin stationery and desk goods. Anyone fancy it? Any entrepreneurs out there who have the time and inclination, please make it happen.
