As the press pack decamp from Paris to head to Milan, #FashionFriday continues this week with a look at fragrant art prints.
We sometimes forget that the more outlandish catwalk outfits aren’t meant to ever be worn, but presented purely to gather column inches in newspapers to promote the more affordable product lines of the larger ateliers.
Take Chanel No. 5 for example – an iconic bottle that has inspired many an artist – and one of the best-selling perfumes of all time. We can’t all afford a bouclé tweed suit but the perfume is readily available in every department store.
Naturally Chanel No. 5 features highly in our selection but some other famous bottles that have inspired illustrators make it in to the mix, such as Miss Dior and Guerlain.
Ideal for a feminine bedroom, boudoir, or dressing area, or even for a bathroom (make sure to get water-tight frames!), these prints bring glamour and style into the home.
