In homage to The Grand Budapest Hotel, nominated for nine Oscars, here’s a Baker’s Dozen of Mendl’s-worthy Patisserie Art Prints
The Academy Awards takes place this Sunday so, in anticipation of the event, Home Arty Home has a baker’s dozen of art prints from Etsy that would fit well into the delicious world of The Grand Budapest Hotel.
As beautifully crafted as delicate patisserie, The Grand Budapest Hotel has the most nominations in nine categories including Best Picture. The film features a choux pastry creation called the Chocolate Courtesan which mirrors the structure of the film to a degree: three layers of choux like the three layers of story, each filmed in three different screen sizes relevant to the era.
